Unheated and traceable 1,0ct Sapphire from Madagascar set in an 18K Fairmined yellow gold, “Serpentine ring” solitaire.
Metal, especially gold, bends and folds uniquely, it can be forced, helped, heated, and accompanied, but if we don’t follow its rules it will crack and even break. Once we found this stunning sapphire, untreated, mined in Madagascar, and cut in Sri Lanka, we wanted to envelop it in warm, succulent, yellow gold. Our goldsmith and designer, Joy Harvey, followed the flow of gold until it created this incredible and unique shape, in our workshop in Italy. This ring is exceptional, hand forged, and one of a kind, as is the beautiful gem it embraces.
